WRC 2022 simulation – Hyundai’s detour into the future

Until now, manufacturers have been quite disappointing in their way of generating excitement regarding the important change in hybrid regulations that the WRC will experience. By simulating a rally as it should take place in 2022, Hyundai did not pretend. This opens up interesting perspectives.

La Hyundai i20 Rally se présente pétaradante à l’approche du village de La Morra, à quelques kilomètres au sud d’Alba, dans la grande banlieue de Turin. Déjà en costume de camouflage au moment d’aborder le rond-point conduisant à la rue principale avec le chambard caractéristique d’une Rally1 à moteur thermique, la i20 passe soudain en mode… furtif !
