As is always the case when the manufacturer based in Mlada Boleslav (50 km north-east of Prague) launches a major operation, the team pulled out all the stops. In particular, it was possible to test numerous models in the RS version of the range in different conditions: Octavia, Kodiaq, Enyaq, etc. It was possible to take control of one of these vehicles in the heart of the Czech countryside around Klatovy. In addition to the production cars, the highlight of this meeting was the test of the Skoda Fabia RS Rally2 with one of the brand's drivers. If Andreas Mikkelsen had been requisitioned on Wednesday, Jan Kopecky took charge of the baptisms on Thursday. For Friday, Kris Meeke was entrusted with the mission of shaking up the journalists taking their seats alongside him in the very last of the Rally2s. This was approved this summer, but it is still awaiting its first start in rally. The difficulties in producing enough spare parts both for the crews fielded by the Toksport team which represents Skoda in the world and for the customers prevent the team led by Michal Hrabanek from making these debuts.
Always mixing the present with the manufacturer's racing past, it was also possible to do a few kilometers with the 200 RS 1974 which only competed in a few races in then Czechoslovakia. The transition from one to the other made it possible to measure the progress made in terms of damping, braking and, above all, safety.
