Steven Cho (Hankook): "For us it was a better event than we expected."

At the end of this 4th round in 2025, Hankook was once again able to draw up a positive balance sheet. With only one notable puncture in Rally1 for Thierry Neuville, the Korean tires demonstrated their solidity. With their very specific behavior and limited grip, they offered a challenge that only Toyota was able to meet with Kalle Rovanperä. The next asphalt event will take place in October in Central Europe. According to Steven Cho, one of the managers, Hankook will evaluate the relevance of upgrading its products.

What did you think of the special stages of this event?

Those times were fantastic and what the drivers achieved was quite incredible. It had been several years since there had been a round on such clean stages. The road surface appeared smooth, but there were actually a lot of abrasive surfaces and porosity.
