Le WRC is already back! Just two weeks after the Rally of Portugal, the players in the World Rally Championship are in Italy this weekend to compete in the Sardinia Rally, scene of the 5e round of the 2022 season.

No Sébastien Ogier or Sébastien Loeb this time. Faced with the absence of the two French world champions, Kalle Rovanperä is once again the big favorite for this 2022 Sardinia Rally. Undisputed leader of the championship, the Finn is aiming for a 4e victory this season to further establish its domination.
In Sardinia, his opponents could nevertheless take advantage of Kalle Rovanperä's opening position to try to end his series of 3 consecutive victories (Sweden, Croatia and Portugal). So, Thierry Neuville, Ott Tänak, Dani Sordo or Elfyn Evans should attack from the start to try to outrun him as quickly as possible.
In total, 21 special stages make up the program for the Sardinia Rally, the first of which took place this Thursday evening. See you this Friday at 7:01 a.m.
