Tänak and Mikkelsen first leaders in Finland

It is a duo who took the lead in the Rally of Finland at the end of the first SS of the event this Thursday evening. With a best time established in 1'45 "9, Ott Tänak (Ford Fiesta RS) and Andreas Mikkelsen (Volkswagen) dominated their rivals over the 2,50 km of the Harju sector.

Sébastien Ogier (Volkswagen) fails a tenth behind the duo and is 1″1 ahead of the Hyundai i20 Thierry Neuville. Kris Meeke places the first DS3 WRC in fifth position at 1″9 and ahead of Jari-Matti Latvala (Volkswagen) who set the best time in the shakedown this morning.

Craig Breen (DS3 WRC) ranks seventh ahead of Kevin Abbring and Hayden Paddon (Hyundai) and Mads Ostberg (Ford Fiesta RS) who complete the top 10. Lorenzo Bertelli (Ford Fiesta RS) follows in eleventh position ahead of Eric Camilli (Ford Fiesta RS). Esapekka Lappi (Skoda) was the fastest in WRC-2.
