The Yaris puts on its summer dress. The day after Kalle Rovanperä's victory and the quadruple obtained on the Rally from the Canary Islands, Toyota unveiled a new livery for the rest of the 2025 season in WRCThe black livery, used since 2024, is being shelved to make way for an all-silver livery, a first for the Japanese team, with the "GR" inscriptions in black and red.
This will be adopted for the first time at the next round of the championship, the Rally Portugal (May 15-18) and at all gravel rallies this summer (Sardinia, Acropolis, Estonia, Finland, Paraguay, Chile). The Toyota GR Yaris should find its traditional colors in the fall to finish the season. Note that only the Yaris cars from the official team are affected by this livery change: Sami Pajari's car will therefore keep its white livery.

Beyond the aesthetic choice, applying a silver livery to the Yaris could also be technical. Indeed, the black color absorbs light and therefore heat, which – on summer rallies – is far from ideal for engine and cabin temperature. With a silver livery, which will better reflect light, the Yaris should be less prone to heat, for the greater comfort of both drivers and mechanical components.

Finally a less sad livery! But still not very cheerful 🇯🇵

I understood carbon black: weight saving, no paint, no stickers...but there!! Grey like an Audi or Merco. Meh

To be completely honest... The black look in rallying as in WEC, is more than questionable... but the new one... too!!!!! Suggestion: white and blue... and a slight red stripe. Something to think about... 😎👀🧐👀👍
