An almost identical route but some adjustments for Finland in 2025

Ce Rally Finland 2025 will therefore be a mix of continuity and new features, according to its own organizers. On paper, nothing really changes. The fastest event of the season is an exact copy of the last edition, with once again 20 special stages on the menu for the weekend.

But looking closer, the Finns have decided to make some changes. Still based in Jyväskylä, this Rally Finland will once again start with the Harju super-special on Thursday before a Friday identical to that of 2024. On the other hand, Saturday's day has been made denser with the addition of two special stages Parkkola (15,55 km) and Leustu (16,39 km) for a total of 8 SS and 142,14 timed kilometers.

Finally, it was Sunday that surprised the most with a day entirely devoted to the legendary Ouninpohja special (23,98 km), called "Ouninday" by the organizers.

« We wanted to make this legendary special as accessible as possible and we think this is the perfect solution., entrusts Tarkiainen, race director of Rally Finland. There is plenty of space along the stage, which gives fans time to find the best viewpoints and enjoy them all day long. It also makes it easier to provide services. Designing a course requires balancing several factors. The most important considerations are safety and sporting integrity, but of course we also aim to create a great experience for spectators on site and the TV production. »
