The final gap in the WRC2 category (4“5) does not necessarily reveal it but Yohan Rossel was never able to compete against Nikolay Gryazin in this Monte-Carlo 2023. His Citroën C3 Rally2 a tone below the Skoda Fabia RS Rally2 from the Russian, the Gardois helplessly watched the domination of his counterpart.

Indeed, Nikolay Gryazin was far too alone during the Monaco classic this weekend. Leader from the start, the Muscovite had a lead of more than 45 seconds before losing around thirty seconds after a puncture. Nothing too alarming for him who never gave in to the return of Yohan Rossel in the final stages.

« I pushed myself to the limit all weekend, underlined the Tricolor at the end of the weekend. The car is not easy to drive but I feel good here (at the arrival) and I finished second. It's not bad for the championship. We didn't make any mistakes all weekend and I drove a little cautiously when the risk of punctures was high. » For Yohan Rossel whose the plan was to make no mistakes, the contract is perfectly fulfilled.
