WRC – Malcom Wilson talks about his drivers: “Their time will come”

Au Argentina rally, the Qatar pilots M-Sport WRT had to be satisfied with places of honor. If Evgeny Novikov was consistent throughout the weekend, he was not able to steal third place on the podium from Jari-Matti Latvala (Volkswagen Polo R WRC) and finally finished fourth in the event. His teammates Thierry Neuville and Mads Ostberg took 5th and 7th places for their part. After 5 rallies, Malcom Wilson's Ford Fiesta RS WRCs are at third place in the Manufacturers ranking, far behind the Citroëns and the Volkswagens, in the lead. Despite everything, the main team is positive.

“We saw some impressive moves from our young crews this weekend with Mads (Ostberg, Editor’s note) and Evgeny (Novikov, Editor’s note) capable of fighting for the podium », declares the British leader. “I think we have seen a positive step for the development of our three drivers in Argentina and I have no doubt that their time will come. The Ford Fiesta RS WRC also performed flawlessly this weekend. We had 100% reliability at a very demanding event for the cars, so that?s also very positive for us?. Next meeting, from May 30 to June 2, during the Acropolis rally, in Greece.
