WRC – Ogier remains in the lead of Wales Rally GB

Sébastien Ogier (Volkswagen) increased his lead over Kris Meeke (Citroën) to almost 20 seconds at the end of SS10 at Wales Rally GB. The Frenchman is finding it difficult to concentrate on his work following the attacks which hit the country last night. “It’s hard to concentrate with these things happening. We realize that what we do is really secondary.”, declared the three-time world champion.

Mads ostberg (Citroën) retained fourth place after stopping in the mistaken belief that he had a puncture. The Norwegian is ahead Ott Tänak (Ford) and Dani sordo (Hyundai). The Spaniard slipped to sixth after stalling and hitting a barrier, disrupted by gearbox problems.

Hayden Paddon (Hyundai) maintains seventh position ahead of Elfyn Evans (Ford). Stéphane Lefebvre (Citroën) took ninth place. Robert Kubica (Ford) completes the top ten.

Eric Camilli (Fiesta R5) remains at the head of the WRC 2 with 11 seconds ahead of Teemu Suninen (Skoda Fabia S2000). Craig Breen (Peugeot 208 T16) completes the top three.
