Toyota has revealed the prices of its future R3 developed on the basis of the GT86 coupe. A discount will be applied to first-time buyers.

WRC/ERC – Toyota GT86 CS-R3 prices revealed

Two awards were revealed today by Toyota for the R3 version of its GT86. For any order placed before February 1, it will cost €79 excluding tax to acquire an asphalt version kit which must be assembled by the purchasers. The invoice will amount to €000 excluding tax for orders placed after January 84. The GT000 CS-R31 could be fitted with various options, including suspensions for rally earth, with the final list of supplements being revealed in the coming weeks. Toyota had also studied the possibility of selling “ready to race” cars, but no information has yet filtered out on this subject.

The Japanese firm immediately announced that it wanted to offer its car at a competitive price. The coupe powered by a 2,0 liter should develop a whopping 240 to 250 hp for a weight of 1080 kg. A 6-speed sequential gearbox will be on board as will a limited slip differential for this propulsion, the version of which “ WRC » seen in Finland (built at the request of Toyota president Akio Toyoda, by the team of four-time world champion Tommi Mäkinen) had been greatly noticed.

The car will also open of the next Rally Germany which will start on Friday and a model will be on display at the service park of the German event.
