Are you satisfied with your recognition?
Yes, they went very well. We encountered conditions where we could use the slick tires. I have never had snow enough to tell me that I will have to consider making a choice of crossed rubbers. I spoke with other competitors who had it when they were there, although two hours later it was over. I'm more afraid of the temperatures that are forecast. We're going to find a little frost... but I don't ask myself that many questions.
Aren't there many changes along the route?
A bit with the start of Turini. The first kilometers are really not easy, because it is very tight. Then, there is what I call the Col de Braus which is a section that we did at Antibes which leads to the end of the time trial which is new. It faces north. The roadway is quite fast, very narrow and we have zero room for error. If it's humid, it will be complicated. If the conditions are identical to those of the recce, we will be able to let go.
Usually, starting a little further in the order of passages, the road is dirty. What would it be like this year with less Rally1 at the start?
It is certain that the fewer cars there are, the better it will be for us. Tonight there will be no pollution. This may be the case on Saturday during the first rounds.
What will your goal be?
Monte-Carlo is Monte-Carlo and last year we fought for victory throughout the event to finally finish sixth. The plan is to make no mistakes and we'll see what happens.
