After being made official this week as a reservist at Williams F1 Team, Robert Kubica could make a new announcement in the coming days. Indeed, the 33-year-old Pole is expected from Monday to Wednesday at the MotorLand of Aragon, in Spain, at the wheel of a Ginetta G60-LT-P1 entered by CEFC TRSM Racing. And this during a test session organized by Michelin and in which the SMP Racing BR1-AERs also took part.
Last year, Kubica came very close to debuting in WEC under the colors of the ByKolles Racing Team, but the poor performance of the Enso CLM P1/01-Nismo had dissuaded him. The team of the John Booth-Graeme Lowdon duo has so far only confirmed two drivers, namely the British Charlie Robertson and Oliver Rowland.
