Dario Franchitti joins Patron Highcroft Racing for the Petit race Le Mans, penultimate round of the American Le Mans Series championship. Currently engaged in Indycar Series, Franchitti will team up with championship leaders David Brabham and Scott Sharp in the No. 2 Acura ARX-O9a.
The Scot has already participated in the Petit Le Mans event with Patron Highcroft Racing in 2008 in the Acura LMP2.
