Dario Franchitti rejoint le Patron Highcroft Racing pour la course de Petit Le Mans, avant dernière manche du championnat d?American Le Mans Series. Actuellement engagé en Indycar Series, Franchitti fera équipage avec les leaders du championnat, David Brabham et Scott Sharp, sur l?Acura ARX-O2a n°9.
L’Ecossais a déjà participé à l’épreuve de Petit Le Mans avec le Patron Highcroft Racing, en 2008, sur l’Acura LMP2.
