Andreas Bakkerud, who has been on the podium 7 times in World RX, will make his comeback in Rallycross. The 29-year-old Norwegian will be taking part this weekend in the FIA European Rallycross championship at the Holjes meeting in Sweden.
It was on this same circuit in 2013 that Bakkerud won his first Euro RX victory. This season he will drive alongside Jānis Baumanis replacing Luigi.
“Having to watch one more race at home would have been unbearable, says Bakkerud. I’m super happy to be back on the grid, especially on the circuit where I took my first victory in Euro RX.”
'HAVING TO WATCH HÖLJES FROM HOME WOULD HAVE BEEN UNTHINKABLE…'
