There is still movement in the list of entrants for the Abu Dhabi Desert Challenge 2025. A few cables away from the start of the second round of the W2RC season (February 21-27), Guillaume de Mévius had to call on a new co-driver. While he was supposed to replace Mathieu Baumel, seriously injured a few weeks ago, Alex Winocq will ultimately not be able to hold his place.

Despite this situation and the tight timing, the Belgian Mini X-Raid driver managed to find a solution. Thus, he will be reunited with Xavier Panseri, his former co-driver with whom he won second place overall in the Dakar in 2024. Thanks to Xavier for showing up at the last minute, rejoices Guillaume de Mévius. Glad to be able to work with you again »

Elsewhere in this list of entrants for the Abu Dhabi Desert Challenge 2025, we find the main protagonists of the W2RC. On the Dacia side, Nasser Al-Attiyah and Sébastien Loeb will be at the start of this second round of the season. Winner of the Dakar for the first time, Yazeed Al-Rajhi will be one of the men to beat in this 24th edition of the ADDC. Without forgetting the clan Toyota represented by Henk Lategan, Saudi's runner-up last January, or Ford who arrives with Mattias Ekström and Mitchell Guthrie, but without Carlos Sainz.
