Unfortunately, the W2RC events follow one another and are all the same for Sébastien Loeb this season. The French rider was forced to retire after being caught out by a mini-dune in the dust on the fourth stage of the Abu Dhabi Desert Challenge. However, the rules of the World Desert Championship rally-raid could have allowed him to return to the track this Thursday for the last stage, reaching Abu Dhabi, unranked. With the protective structure having been damaged in the accident, Loeb and his co-driver Fabian Lurquin are not allowed to get back on the road this Thursday morning, and will therefore not see the final bivouac. Let's bet that the nine-time world rally champion and his team will hope for better luck next May for the third round of the championship, in South Africa...
