The marathon stage is canceled
Due to heavy downpours at the location of the finish of the second stage of the Dakar 2022 in Al Artawiyah, the organizers decided to transport the caravan directly to Al Qaisumah (finish of the third stage), and no longer to Al Artawiyah , town where the marathon bivouac was planned.

The second stage of the Dakar between Ha'il and Al Qaisumah will not see the length of its special change and remains at 338,43 km.
