In decline after an unsuccessful call for tenders, World RX saw the FIA come to its rescue to become its promoter for this 2025 season. The FIA invests not only in the Rallycross, but also in the future of our sport, confided Mohammed Ben Sulayem, present on all fronts recently. We are fully committed to taking this category to the next level by attracting a new audience, providing a higher level of competition for drivers, teams, our commercial partners and, most importantly, the fans. »

With this in mind, the World Rallycross Championship, after a period of adjustment with the FIA and searching for opportunities, has finally managed to put together a calendar. This time, it appears to be definitive. The first indication is that this 2025 campaign will be contested over six rounds, not eight as originally planned.

Among the notable changes, Canada, which was supposed to open the season when the first calendar was published last October, is no longer on the schedule. The same goes for Great Britain and Australia, where the year was supposed to end.

The 2025 campaign will thus begin in Portugal before moving on to Sweden, Hungary, Finland and its brand-new Kymiring track, and Turkey. As for the finale, the FIA and World RX have not yet announced the host country.

World RX 2025 Calendar

Lousada (Portugal) / May 31-June 1
Höljes (Sweden) / July 5-6
Nyirad (Hungary) / July 19-20
Kymiring (Finland) / August 23-24
Istanbul Park (Türkiye) / September 20-21
