VIDEO – The best moments of the Dakar 2025

This Dakar 2025, the sixth to be held in Saudi Arabia, lived up to all its promises with a very lively 47th edition. There were favourites who were quickly pushed out of the race for the final victory, such as Sébastien Loeb et Carlos Sainz, both downgraded by the FIA. A great battle at the front that lasted almost until the end with a great first for Yazeed Al-Rajhi. 

The local driver of this Dakar 2025 had a nice back-and-forth with Henk Lategan before getting the better of the South African during the penultimate stage, this time for good. On the finish line, the Overdrive driver won his first Dakar by 3'57 on his 11th start, becoming in the process the first Saudi to have his name on the list of winners of the competition. For his first participation with his Raptor, Ford finished on the podium thanks to Mattia Ekström.
