Just his appearance on the Paul Ricard circuit for the Grand Prix de France Historique was already exceptional. Philippe Alliot was there for this incredible event, bringing together some of the most beautiful machines in the history of motorsport. You were able to follow, with @ju_f1 and Coyote, his adventures throughout the weekend on our social networks. The driver with 109 Grand Prix starts was notably able to take the wheel of the Lola Larousse-Calmels LC87 from the 1987 season.
At the end of this wonderful meeting, the 70-year-old former driver sent us an incredible message of resilience in the face of illness, as he is suffering from pancreatic cancer. The entire AUTOhebdo editorial team wishes Philippe Alliot much courage in this difficult ordeal, and we hope to see him back in full health as soon as possible.
