The former pilot of Formula 2 andIndyCar Tatiana Calderón will be on track at the next edition of the KENNOL Grand Prix de France Historique. The 32-year-old Colombian, competing in the GTD category of theIMSA on the Ford Mustang GT3 n°66 of the Gradient Racing team, will be at the wheel of Maki F101C on the Paul-Ricard circuit. This car from the Japanese manufacturer of the same name made its appearance on the circuits during the 1975 season of Formula 1 with pilots Hiroshi Fushida and Tony Trimmer.

After two withdrawals from the Belgian and Swedish Grands Prix, the car's first entry in the F1 World Championship was at the Dutch Grand Prix. An event where the car was supposed to qualify automatically, but a Ford-Cosworth engine failure during practice without a spare part prevented it from taking part in the rest of the weekend.

The Maki F101C would be seen on four more occasions during the 1975 season, but neither Hiroshi Fushida at Silverstone nor Tony Trimmer in Germany, Austria and Italy were able to qualify it for the race.
