Have you ever seen… a Formula 1 Sing La Marseillaise? Now, yes! The French national anthem resonated in the sky of Le Castellet, at the Paul-Ricard circuit, with one of the greatest instruments ever invented: the V10 engine! Indeed, the engineers at Renault offered the public, who came in large numbers, a magnificent spectacle by making the 10L V3.0 engine of the Renault R25, F1 world champion in 2005, "sing". A sublime performance played in front of a euphoric audience and stars (Cheers, Alesi, Leclerc…) admiring this car and this bygone era. A unique moment to see absolutely!

"fragile machines", "goldsmith's work" according to the commentators on site... A well-prepared car does not catch fire under the clouds or even the rain at 19°C when it has been running on standby in the sun at over 25°C! The machine is not capricious, it has simply been poorly prepared (oil leak?) because there is no reason for it to catch fire after having covered so few kilometers in these conditions...

FYI, many years ago AH released a small CD on the V10 where this "interpretation" appeared. Probably a collector's item.

Probably why it caught fire afterwards! It's not a first, I remember Peugeot having done the same with its V10 F1.
