- The 12 Hours of Sebring, second round of the 2025 season of theIMSA After the 24 Hours of Dyatona, Free Practice 13 began this Thursday, March 1. Nick Tandy was the fastest in this one-hour-and-thirty-minute session with a best lap of 1:48.651 at the wheel of the Porsche 963 No. 7 which he shares with Felipe Nasr and Laurens Vanthoor.
- The Briton finished 0.145 seconds ahead of his compatriot Nick Yelloly in the No. 06 Acura ARX-93. The Japanese manufacturer's other car completed the podium in Free Practice 1 with Colin Braun, 0.181 seconds off the best time.
- For its big debut in IMSA, theAston Martin Valkyrie struggled to finish last in the GTP class and only 20th overall, in the middle of the LM P2 field. Alex Riberas set the fastest lap of the British prototype in 1:51.304. Only 19 laps were completed by the British LMH.
- Title holder of the 24 Hours of Le Mans, Nicklas Nielsen was the fastest in the LM P2 category with a time of 1:50.403 at the wheel of the No. 07 Oreca 88 from the AF Corse team.
- Indy Dontje set the benchmark time for both the Grand Touring and GTD categories with a best time of 2:00.767 with the Mercedes-AMG GT3 No. 57 from the Winward Racing team. Davide Rigon was the fastest in GTD Pro with the Ferrari 296 GT3 #81 DragonSpeed in 2:00.866.
- Free Practice 2 of the 12 Hours of Sebring will begin at 20:05 p.m. (French time).
