The first Grand-Am test session at Daytona Speedway saw the No. 99 Gainsco/Bob Stallings Racing Corvette DP set the fastest time. At the wheel, Alex Gurney completed a lap of the Florida track in 1'41"726. The team took the opportunity to announce its quartet for the next 24 Hours of Daytona (January 26-27). The usual Alex Gurney-Jon Fogarty duo will be supported by Darren Law and Memo Gidley.
Two more sessions are still scheduled this afternoon, and three more tomorrow.
