The final practice session for the 24 Hours of Daytona took place this Friday, January 28. The conditions were milder for this final session after yesterday's day marked by bad weather. The Cadillacs took the first five places with two French people in the first two positions, Sébastien Bourdais achieving the best time in 1:34.732 at the wheel of the Chip Ganassi Racing n°01 ahead of his compatriot Loïc duval on the No. 5 of JDC-Miller Motorsports.
Phil Hanson set the fastest time for United Autosports in LM P2 in 1:37.639. In LM P3, the best time went to Rasmus Lindh for Andretti Autosport. Finally, Porche dominated both GT categories with WeatherTech and Wright Motorsports.
Next meeting at Daytona, the start of the race this Saturday at 13:40 p.m. local time.
