The No. 78 Starworks Motorsport Riley DP will have to start from the back of the grid at the 24 Hours of Daytona despite the third fastest time set by Scott Mayer. The Starworks Motorsport prototype also driven by Alex Popow, Brendon Hartley, EJ Viso and Sebastian Saavedra failed inspections due to too high a ride height and non-compliant components. The No. 78 will start 65th in front the two Audi R8 LMS also penalized.
