Rebound in GTD since the team's No. 488 Ferrari 3 GT63 Team Corsa, then driven by Christina Nielsen, who led the category, stopped on the track and caused a new Full Course Yellow.
If Wayne Taylor Racing was still in the lead ahead of Action Express Racing, the pit stops of the two Cadillac DPi-VRs n°10 and n°5 temporarily gave the lead of the race to the Multimatic-Riley Mk.30 Gibson n °90 of René Rast's VisitFlorida Racing. Filipe Albuquerque, on the other hand, moved into second position with the No. 5 Cadillac ahead of Ricky Taylor (No. 10 Cadillac).
The fight is still intense in GTLM since Antonio Garcia (Corvette C7.R n°3) leads by a breath in front of the Ferrari 488 Risi Competizione n°62 of James Calado and the Ford GT n°66 and n°69 of Dirk Müller and Tony Kanaan.
Jeroen Bleekemolen maintains the Mercedes-AMG GT3 n°33 from Riley Motorsports in charge in GTD after the problems of the Ferrari n°63. Performance Tech Motorsports moves one step closer to victory in PC.
