After taking pole position in 2024, Porsche is aiming for a twentieth Le Mans title this year. To do so, it will need to complete as many laps as possible in 24 hours. For the third consecutive year, each lap completed by a 963 will be synonymous with a good deed. Indeed, 500€ will be donated to two charities working for sick children: Interplast Germany eV and Kinderherzen retten eV

Since the start of the operation, more than 1,8 million euros have already been raised, including 911 euros in Le Mans, and the results are tangible. “The donations we have received from Porsche since 2023 have enabled us to give a chance to 28 children with heart disease from less developed countries.”, says Professor Friedhelm Beyersdorf, founder of the association Kinderherzen retten eV.

Last year, the #6 Porsche finished 4th in the 24H of Le Mans, in the same lap as the leader: the 311th. A year earlier, without the rain, the Ferrari No. 51 won the race in 342 laps. This year again, there will be a good reason to celebrate with every lap completed by a Porsche 963.
