If the final list of entrants for the 24H of Le Mans 2025 was unveiled last week, and it's obviously subject to change right up until the last minute. Thus, this Friday, May 23, a driver change was announced at the Akkodis ASP Team, which is entering two Lexus RC Fs in LMGT3 at the Le Mans classic.
This one concerns the No. 78. Briton Ben Barnicoat, still recovering from his mountain bike accident, will be replaced by his compatriot James Jack Hawksworth. Hawksworth, a familiar face within the team, will share the Lexus with Finn Gehrsitz and Arnold Robin.

24 Hours of Le Mans: Hawksworth already a last-minute replacement in 2024
Indeed, last year, he had already replaced José Maria Lopez at short notice in the Akkodis ASP Team No. 87 Lexus. At the 24 2024 Hours of Le Mans, with Esteban Masson and Takeshi Kimura at his side, he took tenth place in the LMGT3 class. And this after having long aimed for the podium.
As a reminder, a total of 62 cars and 186 drivers will take the start of this 93rd edition on June 14, divided between the Hypercar, LMP2 and LMGT3 categories.
