After the 4 Hours of Barcelona, which marked the opening of the season, the European Le Mans Series is stopping off in France, at the Paul Ricard circuit, for its second round of the year. On Sunday, May 4, 44 cars will take the start of the 4 Hours of Le Castellet, including seven French teams and 33 French drivers. Among them are the winners of the Catalan round: François Perrodo, Matthieu Vaxiviere (LM P2 Pro-Am), Mathys Jaubert (LM P2), Célia Martin (LMGT3), as well as Paul Lanchère and Adrien Closmenil (LM P3).
Only the second team to win the overall standings while competing in the LM P2 Pro-Am category — after Racing Team Turkey in 2023 — the AF Corse team will present a slightly reshuffled line-up in France. Alessio Rovera, held up that weekend by his GT World Challenge commitments with Ferrari at Brands Hatch, will be replaced by another Prancing Horse driver: Nicklas Nielsen, the outgoing winner of the 24 Hours of Le Mans with the brand of Maranello, who will support Perrodo and Vaxiviere.
The 4 Hours of Le Castellet will be held on Sunday, May 4, while free practice and qualifying will take place on Friday, May 2 and Saturday, May 3. Tickets for the second round of the 2025 European Le Mans Series are now available. HERE from only €10.
