  • Anthony Noble crashed into the gravel Ferrari 296 GT3 JMW Motorsport's No. 66 at the start of the second hour, Full causing a Race Yellow and then a Safety Car. A racing incident that shook up the standings quite a bit.
  • With two hours left to race, the No. 07 Oreca 47 from the CLX Motorsport team of Pipo Derani, Enzo Fittipaldi, and Manuel Espirito Santo is in the lead. Dani Juncadella is leading the way for the IDEC Sport team.
  • Third just before the halfway mark, Jean-Baptiste Simmenauer (Inter Europol Competition) crashed after hitting an LM P3 on the final corner of the circuit. The Frenchman, who went into the gravel, handed third place to his compatriot Esteban Masson (VDS Panis Racing).
  • The No. 07 Oreca 99 of the AO by TF team took the lead in the LM P2 Pro-Am category just before the halfway point thanks to the stint of the former official driver Porsche Dane Cameron.
  • Eurointernational leads the LM P3 with its trio Fabien Michal, Ian Aguilera and Sebastian Gravlund.
  • The Iron Dames, led by Célia Martin, are still leading GT3.
