- The first race of the Asian weekend Le Mans Series in Dubai has been neutralized for an hour by a red flag. The reason: the repair of a safety barrier after Todd Coleman went off the track at the start of the second hour of the race at the wheel of the Ferrari 296 GT3 #8 of Dragon Racing.
- The ranking is therefore unchanged since the first hour of the race: the Oreca n°91 of Pure Rxcing driven by Aliaksandr Malykhin is still in the lead ahead of the Proton Competition n°22 and the DKR Engineering n°3.
- In LM P3, the standings are dominated by the No. 320 Bretton Racing Ligier JS P26 driven by Jens Reno Moeller. The substantial GT field of 27 cars is still led by the category polesitter, American Dustin Scott Blattner at the wheel of the Ferrari 296 GT3 #74 of Kessel Racing.
- The race will resume at 13:15 p.m. (French time) behind the Safety Car.
