56 cars at the start of the 12 2025 Hours of Sebring

56 cars will be on the starting grid for the 12 Hours of Sebring on Saturday March 15, including the IMSA debut of the Aston Martin Valkyrie.

56 cars at the start of the 12 2025 Hours of Sebring

Two weeks after his competitive debut at the 1812 km of Qatar, the opening round of the 2025 World Championship season,Endurance,Aston Martin Valkyrie will take on a classic long-distance race: the 12 Hours of Sebring. A single example of the English prototype will line up at the start of the Florida round, the second meeting of the 2025 season of theIMSA. Ross Gunn, Roman De Angelis and Alex Riberas will be the three men at the wheel of the #23, which will be painted blue in the North American Endurance Championship.

The Valkyrie will be among the 13 cars entered in the GTP class, with the rest of the grid similar to that seen at the 24 Hours of Daytona at the end of January. After its retirement after just one hour of racing during the double-clock race, the Lamborghini SC63 will be present with Mirko Bortolotti, Romain Grosjean and Daniil Kvyat.

In addition to Grosjean, three other French drivers will be present in the top category with Tristan Vautier (Proton Competition), Mathieu Jaminet and Kévin Estre (Porsche #6).

12 cars will be present in LM P2, including the debut of Juan Manuel Correa in the championship with the Oreca 07 n°2 of the United Autosports team. Two Frenchmen will be at the start in this category with Sébastien Bourdais at Tower Motorsports and Tom Dillmann at Inter Europol Competition

The Grand Tourisme peloton will be made up of 31 cars with 11 GTD Pro and 20 GTD. If no representative from France will be present in GTD Pro, there will be two in GTD with Valentin Hasse-Clot (van der Steur Racing) and Lilou Wadoux (AF Corse).
