6 a.m. from Spa – H1: The Toyotas have taken control

The result of both Toyota in qualifications questioned. The two Japanese prototypes were quick to rectify the situation. After getting rid ofAndre Negro (Alphine Elf Endurance Team) from the first moments of the race, Sébastien Buemi et Mike conway successively gained the upper hand over pole sitter Olivier Pla (Glickenhaus Racing) after half an hour of racing. At the end of the first hour, the Swiss still held first place ahead of his British teammate. Glickenhaus and Alpine appear in third and fourth places while the first stops take place and the track is declared wet by the race direction.

In LM P2, Antonio Felix da Costa occupies first position for Jota after a good start. The Portuguese is ahead of Lorenzo Colombo (Prema) and Sean Gelael (Team WRT) who are engaged in a hell of a duel for second position. Despite a good start which propelled it to third for a while, AF Corse of François Perrodo, Alessio Rovera and Nicklas Nielsen fell back to 13th overall.

There was some trouble on the GT side at the first corner. Attacking his teammate Gianmaria Bruni on the inside, Kevin Estre fails to brake and takes the Italian wide. The two drivers touched on the restart and the Porsche #91, who started from pole position, lost his left rear tire in the process. Behind, while she started fourth in the Am category, Christina Nielsen (Iron Dames) found herself in the new gravel trap at the source. The Transalpine and the Dane started back in the last two positions, far from the peloton. Kevin Estre leads the GTE Pro ahead of Nick Tandy on Corvete and Alessandro Pier Guidi on the #51 AF Corse. The No. 21 of the Italian team leads in GTE Am with Toni Vilander.
