Bahrain 8H – H6: Toyota heading towards another double

La dernière manche de la saison devrait se terminer comme les trois deux précédentes : par un nouveau doublé Toyota. À deux heures du termes, les deux voitures japonaises gèrent en tête de course. La nº8 file vers la victoire aux 8 Heures de Bahreïn pour offrir un ultime succès en WEC à Kazuki Nakajima, while nº7 sails at more or less 25 seconds, enough to secure a new world title. L'Alpine leads at six laps and has returned to the top 5 overall, but there are still JOTA nº28 and Team WRT to go for to finish on the podium. The Belgian team is playing in a different league than the rest of the LM P2 peloton in these last two races of the season and should offer itself a new title this year after the one in ELMS.

In LM P2 Pro-Am, Racing Team Nederland ceded its leadership position to High Class Racing, but remains in a good position to win the title.

En LMGTE Pro, Kévin Estre (Porsche nº92 avec Jani et Christensen) a creusé un écart important avec l’AF Corse nº51, seulement troisième avec le même nombre d’arrêts. De même en GTE Am pour l’AF Corse nº83 (Perrodo, Nielsen, Rovera) par rapport à ses adversaires pour le titre. La Porsche comme la Ferrari took a nice margin in their quest for the title in their respective category.
