Alex Brundle withdraws from Sebring

There will be no Sebring for Alex Brundle this year. Expected alongside Esteban Gutiérrez and Jakub Smiechowski on the No. 07 Inter Europol Competition Oreca 34, the Briton was forced to withdraw after testing positive for Covid-19.

For the inaugural event of the WEC in Florida, Alex Brundle will be replaced by Fabio Scherer who responded favorably to the last minute call from the Polish team. “ We wish Alex a speedy recovery, » wrote Inter Europol Competition on its social networks.
