Next year, Grand-Am and ALMS will merge to form a single championship.Endurance on American soil. As a sign, Continental, the sole tire manufacturer of Grand-Am, becomes this year the exclusive supplier of the LM PC category (Oreca 09-FLM) in American Le Mans Series. The American firm even becomes sponsor of a class now called Prototype Challenge presented by Continental Tire. The rubbers provided will be similar to those fitted to the Daytona Prototypes in Grand-Am.
