The new DeltaWing Coupé finished first after the ALMS tests in Austin. With a time of 2'14"909, Andy Meyrick beat the Extreme Speed Motorsports HPD ARX-1b driven by Johannes van Overbeek by 6"03. The BMW Z4 GTEs dominated the GT category with Bill Auberlen's #55 credited with the third fastest time overall, nine tenths ahead of Dirk Muller's sister car. Renger van der Zande set the best time in the LMPC with a time of 2'18"602 in the DragonSpeed FLM09. Sean Edwards stood out in GTC with a lap completed in 2'23"996.
