Guy Smith and Chris Dyson set the best time in free practice in Baltimore at the wheel of the Dyson Racing Lola B12/60 with a time of 1'25"899. The Muscle Milk HPD ARX-03a which dominates the season with Klaus Graf and Guy Smith fails by almost three tenths. In LMP2, the Conquest team's Morgan driven by David Heinemeier Hansson took third place overall while the Level 03 Motorsports HPD ARX-5b driven by Christophe Bouchut finished eighth in the middle of the LMPC.
