Emirati Amna Al Qubasi will drive a Norma M30 LM P3 from the WS Racing Girls Only team at the STT in Hockenheim (September 30 to October 2) after a first test in the car on the 29th. “I’m looking forward to driving with WS Racing in their LM P3 car as the first Emirati and Arab woman to enter this category. This will be a new car for me after the F3, so I'm looking forward to gaining experience during the race weekend.", reacted the 22-year-old pilot.

Daughter of Khaled Al Qubaisi, author of a podium at the 24 Hours of Le Mans in six participations (3rd in GTE Am in 2016 with a Porsche of Abu Dhabi-Proton Competition alongside Patrick Long and David Heinemeier Hansson), Amna confided to AUTOhebdo on the sidelines of the 6 Hours of Bahrain 2021 his desires forEndurance : “I would love to have the opportunity to do it, if I get the opportunity. Le Mans has been a lifelong dream of mine, ever since I went there for the first time when I was 13. This is one of the biggest goals. »

Supported by Giti, WS Racing's Girls Only project is an all-female team, including behind the scenes, in which we notably find Frenchwoman Célia Martin. Amna Al Qubaisi already knows the Singaporean manufacturer from having played in Asian Formula 3.
