Audi on pole at the Nürburgring

On a still tricky track, the No. 18 and No. 7 Audi R8s dominated the qualifying session for the 6 Hours of the Nürburgring, fourth round of the World Championship.Endurance. The Fässler – Lotterer duo, orphan of Benoît Tréluyer, injured in the back, signed the best average in 1'39″444 and beat the second R266 e-tron quattro of Jarvis – di Grassi by 18 thousandths.

The Porsche 919 Hybrid, dominatrices en essais libres, terminent en 3e et 4e positions avec la n°1 de Webber – Bernhard – Hartley devant la n°2 de Dumas – Jani – Lieb. Les deux Toyota TS050 Hybrid suivent au classement.

G-Drive, with the No. 05 Oreca 26 of Rusinov – Rast – Brundle takes pole in LM P2, while Aston Martin dominated the debates in GTE Pro with the #95 Vantage of Thiim – Sorensen. Porsche, with the No. 911 88 RSR from Abu Dhabi – Proton Racing of Heinemeier-Hansson – Al Qubaisi – Long takes pole in GTE Am.
