Grand-Am CEO Ed Bennett and ALMS President Scott Atherton admitted to Speed.com that they were considering running separate races between Prototypes and GTs on some short courses when both disciplines will merge in 2014. Some circuits may have difficulty accommodating a large entry list with more than 50 cars at the start.
