Costa Balboa and Scherer join Inter Europol Competition

Inter Europol Competition maintains continuity but also something new. To support Jakub Śmiechowski, the Polish team called on a new member in the person of Albert Costa Balboa. Former Lamborghini GT driver and regular at GT World Challenge Europe in recent years, the Spaniard will discover the WEC and especially the prototype in competition.
On the other hand, Fabio Scherer returns to Inter Europol Competition but will also discover the WEC full time. After'ELMS but also Sebring and the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 2022, the Swiss is promoted to a full program in 2023.
« This is our third season in WEC as a team but also for Kuba (Jakub Śmiechowski), rejoices team principal Sascha Fassbender. We worked a lot during the winter to prepare for the coming season and we have two new teammates in Fabio and Albert. We are very happy to have them as teammates and delighted for Albert who is starting a new chapter in his prototype career. We are also delighted to continue working with Fabio, who drove for us in ELMS last year, and to achieve a 3e solid season 3 in WEC, our last in LMP2. We want to be on the podium and win some races! »
