Prime Video has released the trailer for American Thunder: NASCAR to Le Mans, a documentary dedicated to the historic participation of a Nascar in 24 Hours of Le Mans 2023. The film, available from June 12 in more than 240 countries, looks back at the ambitious project led by Jim France, president of NASCAR, to enter a Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 in the Le Mans classic during the centenary edition.

Produced by NASCAR Studios and Hendrick Motorsports, American Thunder chronicles the 18 months of preparation required to transform a car designed for American ovals into a machine capable of enduring 24 hours of racing. The documentary follows this unique adventure with three renowned drivers at the wheel: Jenson Button, Jimmie Johnson, and Mike Rockenfeller.
