At the wheel of his BMW-powered Riley from the Sahlen team, Dane Cameron took pole position for the ninth round of the Grand-Am Rolex Series, which is being held this weekend at the Road America circuit. The 24-year-old American, who shares the wheel with Wayne Nonnamaker, completed a lap of the track in 2'00"028. A time which allowed him to beat the Corvette DP Wayne Taylor Racing of Jordan Taylor-Max Angelelli and the Riley BMW Chip Ganassi Racing of Scott Pruett-Memo Rojas.
Sébastien’s Corvette DP 8 Star Motorsports Bourdais-Emilio Di Guida and Stéphane Sarrazin-Enzo Potolicchio-Michael Valiante will start respectively from 4th and 11th places on the starting grid.
