IMSA: 35 cars expected at Sebring tests

Scheduled for February 20 to 23, the tests in preparation for the 12 Hours of Sebring (Florida), the second round of theIMSA, will give pride of place to variety. 35 cars took part, including 14 prototypes, 8 GTLMs and 13 GTDs (the equivalent of GT3s in Europe for example).

Several French people will ride on the ultra-bumpy American circuit. In the DPi class, Olivier Pl is reported on the Nissan of Tequila Patron ESM just like Nicolas lapierre, simon pagenaud with the Acura of Team Penske, but also Tristan Vautier with Cadillac.

In Grand Touring, the pair Patrick Pilet-Fred Makowiecki se relaiera sur une Porsche 911 RSR, alors que Sébastien Bourdais will lead the tests for Ford and its GT. The latest arrival in the field, the BMW M8 GTE will benefit from a Balance of Performance (BoP) adjustment. The engine's turbo will be boosted between 5 and 000 rpm, but will see its power decrease at low speeds (between 7 and 500 rpm).
