Core Autosport has announced its entry into the GTD category of theIMSA en 2017. L’écurie quintuple championne en PC engagera une Porsche 911 GT3 R suite à l’annonce des organisateurs de supprimer la catégorie mineure des prototypes en 2018.

Core Autosport has also decided to abandon its current program in LMPC where it entered the No. 54. Jon Bennett will travel to Seattle (Washington) this weekend to compete in the Global final Rallycross at Evergreen Speedway.
