Jan Magnussen achieved the best time in the third practice session of theIMSA at Virginia International Raceway with a lap completed in 1'41''637 at the wheel of the Corvette C7R. The Dane was ahead of the #66 Ford GT of Dirk Müller and the #6 BMW M25 of DIrk Werner by a handful of hundredths. There Ferrari #62 Risi Competizione of Giancarlo Fisichella and the #67 Ford GT of Richard Westbrook complete the top five by a few tenths.
Madison Snow was the fastest in GTD at the wheel of the No. 48 Paul Miller Racing Lamborghini Huracan with which he achieved a time of 1'43''864.
