IMSA – DeltaWing in control

Delayed due to the thick fog in Florida, the first session of the day at the Roar Before the Rolex 24 at Daytona saw the DeltaWing Racing DWC13 of Katherine Legge rise to the forefront in 1'40″137. The Ligier JS P2 of Michael Shank Racing of Pla – Negri – Pew – Allmendinger, in the lead yesterday, took second place ahead of the two Mazdas of Bomarito and Miller.

In the PC category, the No. 09 Starworks Motorsport Oreca FLM88 of Engel – Kvamme – Johnston – Rosenqvist was the fastest, while the No. 7 Corvette C3.R of Rockenfeller – Magnussen  Garcia dominated the GTLM debates in 1'45″256 ahead of the No. 67 Ford GT of Richard Westbrook – Stefan Mücke – Ryan Briscoe and the Ferrari 488 of Team Corsa de Prémat – Serra – Pier Guidi.

In GTD, Konrad Motorsport dominated the session.
